I was playing life with my 12 year old last week. We play a lot of cards and dominoes.

Every Wednesday, there is a local pub that hosts a boardgame night. Play every week when I'm not traveling. However we play none of those games listed having moved on to the current generation of games.

That said - I am one of the few who doesn't mind Monopoly - as long as it is played with the proper rules. (Auctions, no money under Free Parking, etc). The game is about player elimination so should be quick not interminable.

Games that I played quite often with family were Masterpiece, Booby Trap, and (Nature) Memory.

Well , I don't have anyone to play anymore , if I had I will just play cards ??♥️♥️
My father , sister , and I , we used to play cards ALL the time . I remember been 36 yr old , going back home to visit , and next thing u know , cards / coffee / scotch .
We have discussed through the years all of r problems and issues playing cards ♥️ It's amazing what comes out of your mouth and your soul when sitting around a table w family and trying to win .
When I moved in USA , October 1995 , i took a flight out of Milan to New York . My father was very upset and did not made it to final good bye at the airport . My sister and my old nanny came and they delivered a note from my dad which I still have in safety box : " don't go to Vegas . Truth is u suck on cards and i let u win all these years . I love u always and anyways , Dad ".

Nope..I stopped playing them back in my childhood once my friends realized I always won. I tried hard to lose, but despite my best efforts I always got a royal flush no matter who cut the cards, the dice always turned up double sixes, etc...even Chutes and Ladders made me win.

My Haiti MK (missionary kid) friends called me "witch" and told me to stay away, so I stopped playing all card and board games. I can still play almost any sport without practicing at all..nailing basketball swishers from half court using one hand, etc. even though I can't even dribble a ball.

It's a weird power that my mom, sisters, and kids also have.

By the way, if trollers rush in to attack me, I'll just block you. I've always had these powers, and my part-Cherokee mom even used ESP to wake us up in the morning.

@sweetcharlotte Thanks! You can always tell someone with Cherokee DNA..a very high foot arch, and high cheekbones. In the eastern Kentucky area where I lived for 26 years, most people there are part Cherokee, and bragged on it.

@StarvingArtist Well, hi! When I lived in Kentucky I was occasionally invited to various tribe gatherings but I was married at the time, so never went.

Nope, outgrew 'em.
