Today marks my 1 year anniversary of joining this site. Since then, friendships have started and a community of people from which I feel comfortable with has developed. This site has grown in so many ways with a variety of interests for almost everyone.
For those of you I have gotten acquainted and built a friendship with this past year, it's been entertaining and educational. No longer, do I feel like I am alone & the minority in being a Atheist/non-theist. When there are days feeling like nobody is there for me, I can check out this site and it turns everything around.
Thanks to @Admin for developing this site. If it wouldn't be for them, none of this would be happening right now.

That's awesome. That happened with me on a different site and many of those people are still friends. But they are also ultra spiritual/religious. They are better than most at accepting different ideas but I'm still hoping to make new friends who don't get all sad and worried when I admit I don't believe in Jesus anymore.

I came here little time ago. But I have to admit I like to find people who have similar feelings and ideas to me. In my land, sometimes I feel like an alien. Thanks to everyone. Because it was like discover that maybe in my area, I'm not the strange, maybe aliens are the others, because they don't want to change anything, although there are a lot of wrong things

I know what you mean.
I've only been here a few months, but even in that short time I've made some friends, met some great people, in fact I should say 'almost all' people.
I've always felt welcomed, and it's a great place to be with like minded people.
