What is the most disturbing, disgusting or messed up thing someone interested in dating you has messaged you online?

My top 2 were the guy that in a first frign message asked me if I was into toilet training! For which I told him to go to fetlife and not send that as a first message to women before blocking him. The 2nd was a conservative moron that had opposite values than me. By the end he asked what demisexual meant. After arguing he thought it an ideal time to proposition sex. When I refused rudely and directly, he offered me money!! I told him I am not a damn sex worker and there are workers that get paid for that. He told me he considered sex workers as dirty and he'd rather pay someone like me who he imagined was cleaner and, er, smaller. yughh :/ -_-

Since I live rurally... I tried Farmers Only. I had a nice email one day that I responded to. Nice profile, pretty picture, etc. After a round going back and forth it came out that this person was actually emailing around trying to find someone for her friend.... Who was incarcerated! A moving story of going to jail for writing bad checks to save the family farm. Um... Yeah.

I had another who I actually met and took to dinner. A beautiful widow in her 50s who owned a horse farm about an hour away. Over dinner she told me she doesn't believe in premarital sex (GULP) and that she thinks Donald Trump is so smart. I was SO uncomfortable the rest of the (now) brief date.... She called me 2 nights later berating me because all I wanted was sex! She called me two weeks after that wanting to borrow $5,000

oh the joys of online relationship-seeking. i clearly state on this site that i am here for the community. one guy chose to ignore that. nothing he said was disgusting in and of itself but the fact that he persistently ignored my rebuffs and was obviously a scammer (tell me everything about yourself, all your likes and hates -- yeah right, i will just make you a list, along with my bank account number, why don't i!) was disgusting. i didn't even have to block him, though; when i told him to leave me alone or face reporting and blocking, he left me alone. i understand not everyone is so obedient.

After I told her (as nicely as possible) that I think we should both go our on ways.. she completely lost it and started calling me every bad thing she could think of.. first person i ever blocked on pof and my phone.

@GreatNani I did have a unusual amount that go around. First time on pof .. didn't meet any crazies.. 2nd time I met one.. third time I met three, almost in a row.. pof scares me now lol

@hippydog POF is like the cesspool of the online dating communities. It's the 4chan or reddit of online dating. Have had bad experiences with that one too.

@demifeministgal maybe the expensive paid ones were better (those I didnt try) but in my experience, all of them had the same issues.. I think it's more of a problem with online dating in general.. I did meet some great people, so it did balance out in my opinion lol

@hippydog I don't know I used the paid one, as a free member, and it wasn't AS BAD as POF was. Interestingly I did make a good friend from okcupid from the states and now we are best buddies. 😀 He is like the male version of me (all the positive traits, with hardly any of the negative ones).
