Has anyone noticed that in recent weeks the emphasis on this forum has been more confrontation than discussion? May be my misperception.

Absolutely. Anyone making any sort of statement lately has been met with hostility. Part of the reason I'm taking a break from here.

Seems to me that people are just generally a bit too pissed off, at least here in the USA. That probably has to do with the POS that thinks he is the new king.
