Tonight my brother said "religion answers all the questions that science can not." He also didn't know who Elon musk was until tonight. If god were real, I would pray to have mercy on his poor soul lol

So then religion answers the question of how he can be so ignorant?....

Religion does provide completely invalid, untested, unreliable, and wrong answers to the questions science can't answer. Woe be it to those who make decisions based on fantasy.

God of the gaps...lol

Getting an answer for the sake of having an answer is like copying the test answers from the stupidest kid in school who doesn't care much about getting a good grade. Sure, you will have all the answers, but how many of them are right, right?

If reading the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy taught me anything, it is that getting the right answers isn't as important as formulating the right questions. 🙂

Well, I too would have agreed with him when I was 14. And I am not totally convinced that I am any smarter now than I was then. 🙂

Sad the religious can not face reality, feel obligated to accept things that are not founded in reality or just make things up, are afraid to admit "I don't know" is a perfectly good answer.

Whose? Elon's?

Religion does provide answers that science cannot... But those answers are poppycock and speculation.... Science provides indisputable facts

Having an answer is not the same as having a good answer. For instance the answer of the bible if slavery is okay is yes. It's an answer but not a good one in my opinion. And that's just one of many examples.

Religion doesn't answer any questions. It's worthless. Might as well believe in fairies and trolls for the good it'll do you.

I agree fully that religion answers all the questions that science cannot. The problem is that it's the same old answers and we have a lot of new questions. Science is ever changing. God and the bible are supposedly never changing. You can get the same answers out of god and the bible that you get out of a milk jug or an 8 ball. Yes, no, maybe, wait and see pretty much covers it. The bible has enough out right fallacies to prove that it comes from man and not a god.

Now let's get into your desire to know and have all the answers. Do you believe there is anyone who has all the answers? It's impossible. No one knows everything or has all the answers. Presto! Along came god and he knows, but just because god knows it doesn't mean that YOU know. By picking god you have decided to go along with and believe a book that reportedly tells a story. It was put together that way some 300 years after Jesus and the individual books within it all told a different story. None of it was written by eyewitnesses. It's just a book like Harry Potter is a book.

God doesn't know who Elon Musk is either.

Ask him,
if religion(as all religions says I'm best&from the god) got answers for everything,
why In whole history you can't find even one Spiritual man(priest,mullah،Rabbi،....)stands between two sides of wars&says, stop the war in the name of god.
all of them say war is holy.
and .....
