Does anyone have a honest opinion about what Chief Justice Roberts is saying in this article
Roberts vows independence following Kavanaugh nomination fight.
I would really like to believe the Supreme Court can rule independant of party.
I know here in Michigan I will be voting for a state Supreme Court canidate that is a Republican.

And what, in the constitution, specifies that a voter's mailing address must include a street name? If you know a significant part of the voting block uses po boxes for mailing purposes and that block is likely to vote a particular way, how is banning them from voting anything other than partisan? He can say anything he likes, but it's how he finds on a case that would determine my opinion and how he sided in the case on North Dakota hardly independent.

Who knows-I wish Rethuglicans played the game legally- they cheated, lied and stole SCOTUS seat from Merrick Garland. Damn Mitch McConell-may he lose his status come Nov 6th-POS.

I think it’s clear that Justice Roberts leans pretty far to the right, but he seems a bit more moderate than his rabid-right colleagues. I believe there will be some effort to appear even-handed even though it’s obvious that Roe v. Wade is all but dead.
