You have travelled more than one, which way do you prefer? Hostelling, guest house or hotels...which factors do you consider before you choose any of what you choose?

I travel with 2 very small dogs. They charge you at least $25/night per dog, in addition to the room charge & give you crummy smokers rooms. I drove 17 miles once after agreeing to pay $25/dog/ night, when I went to check in, was told there would ALSO be a $100 non-refundable deposit. Spent the night in the car. Found a tiny, 18mpg used RV (Wnnebago Rialta) and have never looked back...my sheets, my bathroom, no bedbug worries! Usually spend Zero $ for sleeping, spend the $$ on sightseeing and excellent dining while the dogs enjoy looking out the windows.

You are smarter. The World needs more of you.

It’s situational. Hotel, ab&b, whatever

I will never try AirBnB

Ok @0752532706

@NothinnXpreVails I have experienced some real racism on AirBnb.

What happened? @0752532706

Hostel.
ETA. I travel alone and do not have anyone else to consider with lodging.

Cool

That’s the best thing about traveling solo .You do not have to compromise
