I am thinking of moving to a legal marijuana state, I feel like I am in the dark ages here in Texas. Who lives in a recreational state? and do you enjoy the freedom of walking into a dispensary and having whatever you want?? Of course I feel like legalization is coming soon, especially after Canada went legal.

I went through Colorado last summer on vacation. While I didn't partake on that trip, it was so nice to see what should be a simple thing, completely normalized.

I do not believe legalization is coming any time soon to Texas. Too many bible thumpers and republican governor. These are the morons who are still obsessed with where trans people had to go pee.

What a pathetic thing to base one's life on.

my life is not based on one comment, but thank you for your narrow minded opinion

I live next door to a legal state. I can get to a weed store in 3 hours. I would have a medical card if this stupid state would at least make medical legal. As soon as I retire I'm moving.

Though I believe it should be legal, I've never really been into weed. The last time I got high was about 30 tears ago. I will admit, it's great fun to be stoned while having sex.

We in Texas can use all the help we can get to turn it into a blue state, and I'm hoping it starts on November 6. As cities go, it is one of the best in the US IMO. Santa Fe is also nice. The West Coast is waiting for the big earthquake and the East Coast is too densely populated. Besides, living expenses are typically high both East and West. I've not lived in Bolder Co, but heard nice things about it. It has a large University like Austin. However, it gets cold there, which discourages me; although, I like the mountains.

More and more, I hear from people who have quit smoking after it went legal. I think they got their fill and decided the negatives weren't worth it. The forbidden fruit effect perhaps. Or they got all they could from familiarity with the entity and moved past it.

@Captnron59 , sames, 2 hits after work (sometimes 3), then veg out with tv or a book. Alcohol makes me lethargic, and it has calories 😟. I consider this to be be responsible, adult, recreational use. I hate the fact that It is illegal where I live. The industry is starting to take off, and I see exciting things in the future. I should probably buy stock in one of the testing facilities or such.

I live in Colorado and rarely endulge these days, but if I wanted to I could walk ten minutes from my house and be at the front door of a dispensary.
