FOX and their Evangelical horde aren't pro-Isreal for Israel's sake. They have an alterior agenda.

Evangelicals believe that the second coming is very near. That to realize the events necessary for setting the stage for this happening, according to the new testament, it is necessary to move the capital to Jerusalem. It necessary to foment unrest among the Palestinians, and to tear down the Muslim Temple on top of Temple Mount and replace with a Jewish Synagogue. So their motives are suspect and has little or nothing to do with helping Isreali Jews. After all the Jews won't be taken up when the Second Coming occurs according to Evangelicals.

@t1nick I think it's simpler than that for the Evangelicals. Some of them are at church 100 times per year. Multiply that by 40 years, and you have someone who has been at church 4000 times. Each time, they hear stories from the Jewish perspective where the Jews are gods people. The Jews are good, and the enemies of the Jews are bad. It's only logical that they would take the side of the Jews in a conflict between Israel and its neighbors.
