Just a thought about memory.
On of the things I hate most is going into another room, and forgetting what I was going there for.

The others is, um, shit I forgot what I was going with there,...

I'm with ya there mate. Happens now and then. I have to retrace my steps to remember what I wanted to do.... Or completly forget, then remember later on, lol

I saw my 2 year old granddaughter forget what she came for and it pissed her right off when gramma laughed at her and she slugged me in the knee.

It's much easier to remember if that other room is the bathroom,...I can usually find something to accomplish there!!!

ROFL! It's usually hard to forget in that situation. You always have reminders 🙂

Yes. I find myself asking, "What was I talking about?" More often now... ?

Sometimes when I talk, I realize that I don't really know what I'm saying.

My friend, Rik, will ask the others in the room, "What am I doing here?"

The rest of them feel embarrassed, and Rik leaves triumphant.

Life is good.

I hate it when I forget what I was about to say during a conversation.

We don't forget. Our subconscious just understands that what we will say next is more interesting than what we no longer remember thinking to say.

My strategy is to speak slowly. Anyone within hearing distance will finish your sentences. They may be wrong, but they keep the conversation going.

Hahaha! Good one!

@F-IM-Forty I often know what I want to say, but don't know how to say it ... or I know the other person is wrong, but I can't find get it clear in my mind just how to explain it to them, and they get away with it!
