I'm a little bit of a freak about spelling and grammar. That doesn't mean I don't make my share of mistakes in both, but it matters to me and I focus on correcting them.

I should more often than I do. My fingers don’t keep up with my brain and I skip words occasionally and have to edit. If I don’t catch it.. oh well.

Same hear. I need to do a bettor job.

yes i do. and i have found that even though i do proofread my stuff, ag dot com changes some words! i found in more than one post that the word "to" (surely an inoffensive word!) not only had been deleted from all sentences (could i POSSIBLE have just forgotten "to" in all my sentences?) but a space had been left where each "to" had been.

g

Same thing happens to me.

Most of the time a mistake shows up only after I have posted it!

I always proofread, but I don't catch everything. Glad there's an edit button!

I could say this, too.

Of course. You can do some real damage letting autocorrect take the reigns.

It sometimes turns your message into gobbledygook!

We can’t trust autocorrect, and they’re trying to sell us self-driving cars?! The horror ...

@The-Krzyz "Self-driving cars have already been put through millions of miles of road tests, and experts say that the technology clearly has the potential to be safer than human drivers. Indeed it could save a huge number of lives if or when it becomes widely adopted." [money.cnn.com]

@Diogenes1972 "... When they pry my steering wheel from my cold, dead fingers!" Probably just having perished in an automobile accident.
