Ah, I'm an atheist because I don't like rules and I worship myself, now I get it! As a social worker, who often gets blessed for doing "the lord's work", I just wish I could find a way to politely inform people these good deeds are done by a godless heathen.

Let me see if I got this.

We have a man here who determines that his god exists because he read it in his book that claims his god exists. The book even said that everybody knew this. OK, it is a settled question then.

They just make it up as they go.....whatever fits their particular worldview.....

What a dick! He knows there is a god because god’s word says so...proof positive, because the bible is the work of god, and he says Atheists know there is a god too, but we are in denial. He can’t speak for us, but he has the arrogant presumption to do so. The bible was not written by god, it was the work of man, or should I say...many men! He says Atheism is a religion and that we worship ourselves, no we don’t, we are all individuals and have autonomy of thought, unlike followers of religion we have no prescribed belief. He is the type of smug Christian that I dislike the most...the type that think they are outsmarting us with their clever circulator argument...that proof that god exists because the bible says so. They fail to grasp the basic failure in their argument is that their proof has no corrobatory evidence other than itself !
