I feel like this site is just one more on the list of online dating sites that go nowhere. People here treat it like Facebook. More interested in the posts, but not actually connecting with someone.
No dating site is a vending machine where you pull a lever and out comes a partner. Agnostic.com is not even entirely a dating site. Its strength is a very specific filter, its weakness, low volume compared to the massive traffic someplace like eHarmony.
So my advice is, have realistic expectations, and write a decent bio that's longer than a couple of sentences, participate in discussion and reveal who you are and what you think. Use other dating sites as an adjunct. You can afford to be patient; the results of haste are too nasty. Meantime be happy as you are.
So don't make a decision with your "FEELINGS". Make a decision with your logic. People have connected here. The filter is so much more effective here than those other money making dating sites. Agnostic.com has evolved into so much more than a trip down rabbit holes. It has actual conversations & discussions as well as public arguments which are so entertaining........from a distance. 'Bye
What other site rewards activity with a nice pen & T shirt?
Answer: none
You need to pay a lot more attention! So not primarily a dating site...i think more than half are here for conversation/ idea exchange.
A few folks in the Singles chat have coupled up. I’ve dated a three people from here and had private conversations with quite a few others who I met in different groups. It helps to actively participate in conversations and private message people with whom you find a shared interest.
