Start at the beginning.

I was so addicted to Dune. I think I'm in recovery now but seeing this is testing my mental strength 🙂

@ipdg77 Not the worst addiction to have.

As Dorothy was told, ‘it’s always best to start at the beginning’ ~

I like to start in the middle, especially with omelets and burritos. YMMV.

Welcome to the site! There is a lot going on here; your own interests and inclinations will be your best guide, but I can give a few good suggestions.

You may wish to give our "Groups" a look; there are a crazy amount of them--dedicated to every possible interest--so a keyword search may be in order. [ "Browse" --> "Groups" --> keyword search]

Perusing the message board forum categories is a good way to find out where the kinds if general discussions that will interest you are taking place. [ "Browse" --> "Posts" --> "Categories" ]

There is at least one group dedicated to "newbies"; Edit: check out "Newbie Groupies."

If you have not already, you can expect to receive at least one (possibly several) personal messages from a designated "Greeter" who would be happy to assist you further.

I love this site. I am hooked on the fascinating intellectual discussions.

Enjoy!

Hmm

@bingst realized my mistake and fixed it; sorry about that (conflated groups)

Yes, we all are intellectual hookers here ?
