Just today a friend was agreeing with me on my logical beliefs when it come to theism, then he says " I do believe there is something out there." He knew this, he said but could not tell me what it was. That's when I told him it is his mind and told him how it works. There is no "pattern" but you are likely to see a cloud in the sky that "looks just like Jesus." The next thing I will ask you is what does Jesus look like?

Believers will go to any extreme to validate their absurd beliefs and their confirmation bias.

I have a personal theory about things like this especially when I see numbers like 92% being thrown out there.

If I were to go to a McDonald’s and ask everyone coming in which burger do you prefer the vast majority would respond with something that’s on the menu because they’re there and the assumption would be that I’m asking about McDonald’s.

But if was to go to a place with no hamburger restaurants near by and ask the same question of a 100 people I would get at 50 different answers.

So when I see things like this article I can only imagine that they’re asking people who are either at a place of worship or on a religious social site quite very unlike this one.
