@genessa The referendum was over 90% in favor of joining the Russian federation. And makes perfect sense, Crimea was historically part of Russia, the absolute majority of the inhabitants are ethnic Russians or Russian allies. The the western backed Nazi coup that overthrew the elected government of Ukraine made passing laws turning ethnic Russians into second class citizens their first order of business. And, you know, Russians aren't well inclined towards Nazis, one guess why. Putin by the way has approval ratings that western leaders can only dream of. And when are we going to sanction Israel for annexing the Golan heights? Snort.
