Had a quiet, pleasant evening with my dogs, Netflix, and my Fabulous popcorn...a Huge indulgence!

We're making cookies for our favorite neighbors.

I'm by myself. I spent today spackling and putting plastic up over my windows. I got the two in my bedroom done. I have one more to do but I think I might be out of plastic.

I got home from family stuff about 4 and am having a pajama day and watching movies tomorrow (with my dog), I’m actually SO excited!!

I'm in the company of heroes. Just Skyped with my sons as well.. My day is starting off perfect!

i am with my guy but he is watching wrestling as he does every monday night, and i am listening to rachel maddow as i do every week night. we're jewish, and i'm an atheist. christmas has never meant anything to me but a day off, or, for a few years, an invitation to a nonreligious party thrown by a couple of my friends. if i were alone for some reason, it would be no more meaningful tonight than it would be on any other night (it would probably mean my guy was in the hospital and be distressing on that level). i have nothing in particular to celebrate this evening. tomorrow is his late parents' wedding anniversary but we're not doing anything beyond making note of that.

"hand raised" ... munching on some air popped popcorn at the moment. Warm. Good non-human company. Solo kayak trip planned for tomorrow. Content.

I am alone this evening as I am every evening. It is by choice and I am enjoying it. I did have one of my granddaughters and her hubby spend the weekend with me and they left for home this morning. What could be better?
