Seriously?

If this moron was saying this to me in person I would have to summon all my willpower to prevent me from beating the shit out of him.

Why do people think that violence against another is the answer or solution to all problems?

Because they're idiots.

Well ... in fairness (and dog knows why I try to be fair to these asshats) this is pretty standard-issue slut-shaming rhetoric that's just as much on tap outside the church as inside it. It's hard to know if the church generates it or just channels it or even cynically leverages it. Probably all three and then some. But the church isn't the only source of this disordered thinking, or a necessary source. I see it less as a religious problem than as a more general societal problem. ALTHOUGH, a lot of society's thinking comes from patriarchy, which is very much mediated by the historic influence of the Abrahamic faiths.

Yeah, okay, let's blame it on organized religion. You've convinced me.

I don't think these guys should give that nutter so much air time. They should just treat him like the joke he is.

Priests can't even keep their dicks out of children. I have no idea while millions still turn to them for moral authority,

The Catholic Church has no credibility. It's been a vile and corrupt institution since the Council of Niceae.

@TommyNIK Hey did you watch documentary Pope: Most Powerful man in the World. 6 part series. I'm only up to episode 3 but it is a fascinating history of the Catholic Church. I recommend it to everyone. It should be compulsory viewing for Catholics.
