I sometimes catch myself saying that
it's raining here. overnight it snew. the snow ploughs skipped our driveway because we have a discreet swinging outdoor couch tucked away against a wall but somehow managed to plough around the car in the neighbor's drive. now the rain is going to make ice in the morning and we'll all fall down.

I worked outside about half an hour west of Brainerd in February a few years ago. One day, it got up to freezing, and shops propped their doors open and convertibles had their tops down.

It shows who the true bike lovers are! Mine happens to be a 21 speed Marin mountainbike even at -15.
