I laughed at this. Knee-jerk reaction: But, i'm from philly... So not only am i showing up, i'm bringing my whole crew for support.
I swear to you, I'm really working on that.
I fail more than I succeed, but I'm working on it.
Try harder.
My meditation this morning discussed how resolutions set you up for pass/fail, whereas setting the intention to change something allows you to improve gradually. So I am setting an intention to be more selective of with whom and when I do battle. There are some battles that cannot be won, like trying to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig. There is a "pig" I have had words with a time or two, and I need to ignore that pig.
@HippieChick58 Agreed, in principle. New Year's resolutions generally are failure devices. Too many unrealistic expectations, for one thing.
Part of me actually enjoys arguing. I'm not likely to ever give that up.
I'm just working on choosing my battles better.
@KKGator Yes, I love a battle of wits as well.
I could have used this yesterday when Minos, a member decided I was a liberal cunt. He removed it pretty quickly but gosh that made me angry!!!!
There is no need to use profanity, one can get ones point across without it.
@Jolanta apparently some repub men have a problem with that. And it's always "you liberal cunt or communist, or libtard when attacking a woman.
