It's a Bible thing. Jesus is called the "good shepherd" and his followers are called his "flock."
Here in Tennessee we call them sheeple.

Imagine the early Greek system: everyone went to shows for entertainment and indoctrination to religion, culture, and government and the poor didn't pay, the rich supported it all.
Yes, and it pays very well and is tax-free to boot.

@Drsmash253 Well, I reckon he'd have to have started the Scientology Church because his books were crap in my opinion, just as is the Scientology Church as well.
