I ran across a post on FB the other day, and I thought it would be a fantastic idea to do myself. The post was made by a woman and she wanted to show people hiw to cook meals. From basic meals to more complex meals. For me, I am a single guy, so I know how to cook a lot of meals myself. I prefer to cook meals over the charcoal grill. So I was thinking I could have people come over and I can show people how to operate the grill and cook on them. There is several techniques that one can do, to cook on the grill.

So what are your thoughts on this matter? I mean. Just to have people to come over and showing them how to cook? I am not sure if people that don't know me, would want to come over to my house and learn on how to cook.

um... yes please! i want to join a supper club. i would like to have everyone bring an ingredient, and everyone cook together and sit to eat, drink, and be merry. i cannot work out logistics of the thing.

and yes, i did check to see how close you were. unfortunately, i can't jaunt off to michigan to accommodate this.

Every one to bring an ingredient is a great idea.

I think it is a splendid idea. So many people are clueless in that department. Go for it.

I don't like to watch someone else cook. I bite my tongue a lot to keep from saying stuff like "why the fuck are you doing it that way?" I probably wouldn't be in your target market though. Give it a shot, let us know how it goes.

I fear I would do this myself. I would have to say something myself. Next thing I know, I am taking over the grill to cook for that person.

I think there are multiple TV channels and YouTube that doesn't this already

Steven Raichlen, seen on PBS has his own charcoal grilling.

I adore cooking and baking and will try out dishes from all over the world. But I do not use the grill. If you start a youtube channel, I will watch it.

That actually sounds like a great idea for a YouTube Channel. Call it "Strangers Teach How to Grill". Have them come over and you interview them as they teach you their cooking techniques.

That is a great name to have for the YouTube channel.
