More people who won't vote for Trump....

I think most didn't vote for him in the first place. lol.

Just another example how Trump doesn't give a rats ass about the public. Maybe he's planning to buy us all cheeseburgers and pizza?

Sell them? If this shutdown goes on another 2 months people will not get EBT.

I know some who get a surplus and always sell those.

As far as I know you don't get food stamps anymore. You get EBT. It's like a debit card.

@josh_karpf Point is I don't know how you will sell them. lol

@TheGreatShadow its easy to sell them... You go shopping with the snap recipient, they use the card to pay for the good, you give them cash.... 😟

@sweetcharlotte you need to find someone who pays cash for food... Make a deal with them where you buy $29 worth of food items with your food stamps , and they give you the cash...

@sweetcharlotte My point was that you can't sell the actual stamp. When I was young a kid wanted to buy some candy from me. He gave me a piece of paper. He said it was just like money. Never used it because I found out it was a food stamp. An actual piece of paper.

$29/mo!? You are getting fucked! A friend was on SNAP. He had one kid, worked full time, his GF didn't have a job. IIRC he was getting $800/mo. Yes, that much. He'd buy lobster and steaks on it. Stuff he would not buy out of his own pocket.

Can I ask if you got SNAP recently, or has it been that low for years? When I went OTR, and had my trucking company, I could deduct $59/DAY for food. If I didn't use it, I could take it as a per deim for taxes. I just kept the receipts. Might spend 10-15/day. Thought it was dishonest to take the 59.

@Cutiebeauty You wouldn't get much. They're usually sold for $0.40 on the dollar so $29 doesn't get you anything tangible.

@Cutiebeauty, @TheGreatShadow You have to show a need to get an increase. Transportation, medical needs etc.

Report it so that Trump can use the excess funds to support his wall? It's not total fraud. Some have enough food but not enough cash so it's a trade off.
