I lay outside on my back, one starry night. The clear night sky was filled with millions of stars and I saw above me a vast, eternal, Universe where I was certainly looking at other suns with their own solar systems. I saw a cosmos with resources beyond imagination, and recognized myself as an insignificant segment of this grandiose macrocosm.

Yet I had the consciousness to look out and ponder these things and consciously consider, “Am I relevant?” “What is my place in the grand scheme of everything?”

As I considered all of this, I was struck with a deep and profound epiphany: “What the f#$k happened to my tent?”

The Revelation would have been more startling, if you are at home. ?

At that point, I'd have said "screw the tent...this shit is AMAZE-BALLS!"

That was good! You really sucked me in! In my head, I am getting all serious. Thinking about how insignificant we are in the grand scheme. And, BAM! Where is the f#$king tent?
