I cannot agree here! Give in just to be nice, never works over the long haul! That is the problem now...too many quick fixes!

@Freedompath democrats voted multiple times to extend border security. The only reason they are opposing this 200 mile section is because it's Trump. No other reason. It's not about racism or any of that garbage. It's about establishing control in Congress at the expense of the working class.

There is no dispute about border security, the wall want work, as intended and trump never thought he would have to ‘fork it up!’ I can’t figure out why conservatives, who want less spending, don’t consider nearly 6 billion a lot of money, on a wall we don’t need! I live near the border in NM, (& Texas), this is high desert, 5-10 at night, 40-50 in day time, when we don’t have 30-40 mph winds! It is over a 100 in summer! There are ways to secure the border, this is a trump concoction and NOT researched!

@Freedompath actually the dollar amount and plan are proposed by border patrol. It extends the wall sn extra 200 miles. Patches current issues. Increases pathways for patrol officers. And adds more tech surveillance.

@Biosteelman 5.7 billion for 200 miles of wall? Patches current issues?? Patrolling and tech surveillance is part of The Pelosi offer. I read all my news, and I did not see a 200 mile wall! That would not cover the unwalled border in El Paso!
