This looks a lot like the entrance to my parents ranch property when I was growing up.

And it's just down the street from where I live.

@sweetcharlotte I try to take a walk at sunset when I can.
that is my safe/happy place.

@Varn I was lucky to grow up with a creek like this on my parents ranch. I miss everything about the rural and country life.

@SleeplessInTexas We’d escape the city to a cabin at the base of Mt. Hood in OR. I next inherited the family homestead, with creek! Now, I visit the base of the Blue Ridge; this photo’s from 8 miles away. Born a city boy, I came to know, love, and miss the deep woods.. too

Maybe napping in a back yard,a hammock slung beneath two trees,the sound of a far off train,the idle buzzing of a bee or two,with a gentle breeze cooling as you sleep?
