The Old Testament was written in the Bronze Age, the New Testament was written in the Iron Age but we live in the Space Age. I think it's time we got a more up to date book on the Meaning of Life, the Universe and Everything.

Me either.
If we need a Bible for today may I suggest the following. I am also fairly certain that the author wouldn't mind in the slightest if it were updated as advancement in knowledge dictated, unlike the previous attempt

It is the space age so that would make a good text msg, short, sweet and to the point. No need for book at all, just a really good tweet.
