Worse Vacation ever

It is my understanding that all (most) of the federal empolyees who "worked for free" during the shut down will get paid for all the hours they worked. They didn't get paid on the regular pay schedual but will be paid for those hours this week or next week. I don't mean to dismiss the hardship those folks tolerated for not having the money to pay their bills when they came due which is absolutely significant. But they do get paid for those hours, Eventually.

What just happened is a shameful display of egos, dysfunction, and disregard for the suffering these things inflicted on common people. A prolific liar vs a career politician. Each has renounced the use & authority of reason as each beats their chest in an attempt to utterly destroy their advisory. I cannot put my confidence in such a Government or such a people to accept such a Government without question.

Not we, tRUMP...he owned the shut down...good business man...thought this out so carefully...many of the workers continued to work without pay...Coast Guard, border patrol, TSA, social security, etc. Over 420,000 continued to work without pay...so your figure is a bit high...

I personally would not consider all the stress and worry they've endured for the last month a vacation. Even though they go back to work tomorrow, they're probably worried this is happening again in three weeks.

I would NOT want to be those people.

We cost ourselves extra money, created backlogs of work and pissed off a great many people all because of one massive ego trip. Not a good thing.
