Sounds like something a real man would say. If I want a honest relationship with another I do care what they think and I would expect they feel the same about me.
Funny the connections I sometimes make from these postings. My second relationship was with a woman who was alcoholic. When she had a few drinks I felt I was living with a salty sailor. Perhaps this is another reason I dislike cussing.

I feel the need tio amend that statement: Women drink beer, swear and don't give a fuck! That "real' modifier is so twenty years ago.

Helen Mirren British actress...played Queen Elizabeth in a movie short while ago. Quite an accomplished actress.
I think she was also in "Joint Venture" with Craig Ferguson.
