Best jobs I have ever had have been unpaid, no-one wants to pay me to do what I like,
best ones involve nature, even working on a prawn trawler was great,
though now I have huge problems regarding by catch,

I worked on a beam trawler ... That was one of the big problems too .It used to break my heart dumping perfectly good fish over the side because of the quota system .
Washing up in a hotel kitchen when I was about 14-16. it was great fun with loads of little bonuses.

I worked for only one season in the high Italian Alps looking after the cattle and goats . It was the best summer of my life.

@orange_girl It was fantastic ... There were only two of us . Supplies at the beginning of the season were brought up by mule , later by helicopter .
Working for the Ottawa municipal government as a "Special Projects Officer", then as a "Data Technician". Excellent people to work with, lots to learn, awesome support from management, and respect from co workers. It was ideal. I was an idiot and left it for a shit job in Saskatchewan I had to quit because of the politics.
