There seems to be a trend on youtube of people "reacting" to movies, vids, shows, music, what have you.

A lot to me are fairly generic, and not that entertaining.
But a few do stand out.
Mostly I think because they have genuinly felt moved by what they see or more what they hear.

One of my favorites is King KTF, aka, Preston.
Coming from a predominantly Hip Hop, R&B background, went to listen to other styles of music.
And over the course of that, he's become a huge fan of bands like Pink Floye, Tool, Alice In Chains, Metallica, and many others.
He doesn't just listen to them, He actually "feels" the vibe, and the music.
And has come to really appreciate them as well.

It's something I've done all my life, and I've been turned onto many types of music that I would have not thought, so to me it is great seing some one else do that as well.

This is one of my favorites of his on AIC "Would".

Check out "Elders react to..." so funny. Such good sports.

That is the dumbest trend I've ever seen. It's like going to a theater to watch the moron sitting next to you.

Sorry you feel that way, but to me i love the fact that there are those that are willing to broaden their scope, and try other music than just listen to what their friends or sutch might say.
To me, I love watching, hearing others that would ordinarilly not listen to some clasics, and enjoy.

@TristanNuvo , I guess I just watch for the entertainment and not the reactions. Then I've never been a fan watching of sports either. Being involved in the game is different.

My kids used to watch videos of people "reacting" to all sorts of stupid crap. So few people on Youtube actually DO anything. What a waste of time.

Personally, I don't find nit a waste of time at all. I love the fact that there are some who will go out side their box, so to speak, and give an honest reaction to something that is out of their norm.
I honestly wish more were like that.
