  1. I went to high school with Steven Avery from the Netflix docu-series Making a Murderer. He also bought my first car from me...an orange AMC Matador.

  2. I've never been out of the country, but my children have. (I'm so sheltered!)

  3. I was in a coma for a month.

  4. I work at a nuke plant, but no, I don't glow in the dark.

  5. I have a bit of social anxiety.

@Redcupcoffee I was hit head-on by a drunk driver almost 24 years ago, and was flown on the Flight for Life to Milwaukee. I vaguely remember being on the helicopter, but remember very vivid (and strange) dreams when I was unconscious. When I was in the OR, I felt like I was looking down on what was happening, but I attribute that to all of the drugs that were being pumped into me.

@Redcupcoffee According to the doctors, I did "die" a couple of times during surgery and had to be brought back. So, I was definitely near death!

  1. I enjoy getting high although I often choose a good indica due to chronic pain from an intestinal ailment.

  2. my family is all southern baptists and they have chosen to avoid contact with me due to my smoking weed and living as a Hindu sage. This includes my children.

  3. I work a couple of days a week for a few hours as a criminal defense attorney.

  4. I spent 8 years in the US Navy as a nuclear engineer.

  5. My pet is a stubborn cairn terrier named Picasso (Pook for short).

incredible? never really seen it as incredible. more fortuitous than anything else. I lead a simple life. Thanks though and yes he is very stubborn.

@kauva I worked for the public defender's office for 10 years. Do you take cases from them? And we call our dog Pookie, although her name is Scarlett. I don't know where that came from, but it stuck!

I share many clients with them and help them do pleas on the revo dockets when they are swamped. Mostly I take care of the District Court misdemeanor docket in OK county. I plea out and assist the poor who don't qualify for the PD but also cannot afford expensive attorneys who want to charge $5k for a first time DUI. I do most of my cases for free or like $100 - $300 (whatever I can get the ADA to shave off of their fines and fees and victim's comp assessment fund). It's the closest I can get to no profit without starving and living in a bush.

Hi @Redcupcoffee,
I was an eclectic home school educator. I put together my own lesson plans using various materials. We went to nature classes and did all kinds of field trips. We were part of a home school group so our kids could play together. It was a great experience.
As for Thai curry, I suppose you would have to know what curry tastes like. The taste is rich, layered and flavorful. Thai curries are coconut milk based and very yummy (different than Indian curry, which is also good). I love panang curry and green curry. I usually get shrimp as I am a pescatarian.

1.I LOVE monthong durian, better than any other food, despite its reputation as a stinky fruit.

2.I can walk most places in my neighborhood any time of day or night without one peep out of the local dogs, since they know me, some from puppyhood.

3.I keep running into Thai people on songtheaw buses, downtown, and in various places who I taught when they were younger. They are the ones who "wai" me, and call me "Teacher."

4.If I so much as start to raise the camera, most of the local birds will dive behind a branch. But when I don't carry a camera, they will sometimes fly up almost to my nose, even fly alongside me for blocks.

5.I can make a weird clicking noise inside my mouth I learned to do in Haiti, that mimics the sound house geckos make here, but Thai kids can't imitate me.

6.I can recognize most Thai birds from the slightest glimpse, even from a distance, know their various sounds and calls, recognize their flight patterns from a distance, so I'm instantly alert if an unknown bird makes even the briefest appearance, or sings.

I tried durian for the first time recently. Very bizarre fruit. Not a fan. Also tried dragon fruit recently. That’s really good. 🙂

@Redcupcoffee Thanks! Except I need to better communicate that my camera won't hurt them! Since I walk on two legs, the birds assume I can also fly, as they can, so when I swing the long camera lens in their direction, to them, it's the long beak of a predator bird, turning and focusing in on them for an attack.

@Redcupcoffee The reason I know that, is a "woo" thing for some..I can communicate with animals. I simply connected with the brain of a bird that was afraid of me to see why, and suddenly I saw myself from the bird's point of view. I represented a major threat. Of course, whenever birds stop seeing me as a threat they let me come very close, hence my many "lucky" photos.

@Redcupcoffee Oh, I didn't get to meet her. It was a one time thing. I worked for a company in New Orleans who set up for all sorts of concerts and conventions. Meeting her would have been amazing! I used to sing for a living and did one of her songs. Huge fan!

  1. I grew up on a trout hatchery.
  2. I have an eye condition that happens to people south of the Equator.

@Redcupcoffee

  1. I will share with you particularly if it has no fluoride. And it's definitely not useless as it means that you do not like to shock others with the sight of your yellow brown nicotine/ tannin/ coffee stained teeth.

  2. Perhaps you haven't been with the right man yet?

  3. Escapism, yes IMO useless. All the problems, defects, wrongs still exist when you return to reality.

  4. Decidedly useful information. No one likes making love with a dead useless drunk.

  5. Unless the wigs do not remove, particulary the merkin, I agree it's useless information to match mine of "I die my hair according to the season!". ?

@Redcupcoffee Perhaps your disappointment is driven by your preconceived belief and failure to communicate and be communicated with.

You have sex! That sounds like an appointment with the dentist for a tooth extraction.

I have love affairs where the commencement of the next orgasm starts when the tremors of the last died down sufficiently to enable recovery of movement to allow recommencement to achieve the next orgasm.

You have fun? I have highs, lows, laughter, tenderness, explosiveness, exhaustion, release, submission, loss of control, love, tension, anticipation, control, hunger, pleasure, desire, worship, insatiability followed by satiation, curiosity, understanding, exchange of knowledge, plus more ... and then I have fun.

Sure, why not??

  1. I was a straight A student but dropped out of high school and now have a master's degree.
  2. I apparently put off a matronly vibe even though that is TOTALLY not me. People who have only encountered me in passing are shocked to learn I have tattoos and piercings, as if I'm some goody-goody.
  3. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat meat. Yes, it makes perfect sense!
  4. I sadly have never been out of the US.
  5. I once broke my foot falling off the toilet (doesn't THAT bring about questions in your head!!)
