Today I'm wearing Red, to show my support for Wales as they take on Ireland in the rugby Six Nations cup.
Tomorrow, I shall wear green, to show my appreciation of Ireland's St Patrick's day.
Nothing fickle about me, is there?
P.S. I do not have a drop of British blood in me from my recent past.
YOu are not fooling any of us. This is just about you getting to wear different colors each day. Fess-up.
In the 1940s my Mum found out from her Irish boss how insulting it was to wear Orange on St Patrick's day. (Googles "Orange men" ).
Full on orange dress - no slight intended. The dude was upset.
I believe she went home and changed. lol
Ah cultural norms.
I generally find a bit of green to wear on the day if I'm going out.
Yeah. The battle of the Boyne is still divisive.
Today I'm wearing an agnostic t-shirt
To show support for which non-sect?
@Petter its just a coincidance
@LeighShelton I'll support coincidence any time!
@Petter ditto my friend
LOL!! I do have forebears from the UK. I don't think there is any Irish, but Scotts and Brits. My great, great grandfather went from Lincoln, England to Lincoln, Nebraska, United States. I'm thinking there was a lack of imagination or something going on. Today I am going to a birthday celebration for lunch, and tomorrow a St. Pat's day brunch. I don't think I have anything green to wear.... Green is not a color I wear very often. Hmmmmm. I may have to get creative.
Put some grass in your hair! ???
