Today I'm wearing Red, to show my support for Wales as they take on Ireland in the rugby Six Nations cup.
Tomorrow, I shall wear green, to show my appreciation of Ireland's St Patrick's day.
Nothing fickle about me, is there?
P.S. I do not have a drop of British blood in me from my recent past.

What a slaughter! Wales hammered Ireland to score a convincing Grand Slam in the Six Nations.

YOu are not fooling any of us. This is just about you getting to wear different colors each day. Fess-up.

Yeah. I get tired of grey slacks and white shirts.

@Petter Hats? Socks?

@Jacar Normally bare headed. Socks are variegated (mainly grey, but with patches of skin colour at the toes and heels.)

and England is trouncing Scotland right now.

Really? At full time Scotland were trouncing England, 38 to 31. Then England managed to equalise, 4 minutes into "red time". What a game!!

@Petter I had to be seeing a different game than you were. it was 28/0 england last i saw.

@hankster Just before half time it was 0-31 to England. Then Scotland woke up. 5 tries later it was 31 all, before Scotland went ahead and at full time it was 38-31 to Scotland. England then managed a desperate try, after keeping possession, and maintaining the ball in play, for 4 minutes of "Red Time". What a game!!!!

@Petter nail biter.. i flipped it over to SEC basketball and missed the good part i reckon.

@hankster It was an excellent Six Nations series for 2019. Now roll on September and the Rugby World Cup in Japan. (Pool C: England, France, Argentina, USA, Tonga.)

In the 1940s my Mum found out from her Irish boss how insulting it was to wear Orange on St Patrick's day. (Googles "Orange men" ).

Full on orange dress - no slight intended. The dude was upset.
I believe she went home and changed. lol

Ah cultural norms.

I generally find a bit of green to wear on the day if I'm going out. 😉

Yeah. The battle of the Boyne is still divisive.

Excellent forward planning, that!

LOL!! I do have forebears from the UK. I don't think there is any Irish, but Scotts and Brits. My great, great grandfather went from Lincoln, England to Lincoln, Nebraska, United States. I'm thinking there was a lack of imagination or something going on. Today I am going to a birthday celebration for lunch, and tomorrow a St. Pat's day brunch. I don't think I have anything green to wear.... Green is not a color I wear very often. Hmmmmm. I may have to get creative.

Put some grass in your hair! ???
