I'm sure they will. It was not a complete loss at all, and money is pouring in.

They’ve raised nearly $700 million in private donations. It’s a natural treasure and should be restored.
I would hope no public money would go towards it. France must make a heck of a lot of money off of it though. It’s reported that 13 million visit it every year.

The Catholic church can rebuild it, they have the money, but no government's funds should be used. Would be nicer if the church used some it's treasures to feed the poor or something they claim to to be doing with it, but hey God needs Gold.
