So there's to be an investigation into the investigation, is there?
You couldn't make this stuff up! The Mueller investigation is to be investigated.
It HAS to be a delaying tactic, to get past 2020, surely?
(I would have posted this in politics, but it is so damned silly!)

If you post it in politics you might not get any answers. I agree with you that it is so damned silly.

Trump (and minions) have been burning midnight oil reading all the tactics that were used by Mussolini, Hitler, Stalin, and a few more. They are working steadily toward achieving an unimpeded dictatorship.

I'm afraid this is the case. The GOP declared they wanted to be the ONLY party during the 90's, and they seem to be moving in that direction, or at least trying to.

It is a combination of a delaying tactic, and an attempt to get the most stupid of the Trump supporters to believe that the Mueller investigation was not legitimate.

Yes!
The republicans wasted over $100 million on their six investigations on Benghazi!
Over wether Secretary of State Clinton set up the killing at the abandoned consulate in Benghazi!
There was never any evidence that linked her or the state department to these killings!

It was executed by Islamic terrorists!

All these republican Fascist know is to blame everyone but themselves for their horrible crimes against the people of this country!

Of course it's a stall tactic.
In all honesty, I cannot understand why anyone is defending this asshole.
It's not even a question.
It just makes no damned sense at all.

The republicans are monumental hypocrites.

They investigated Benghazi SIX times, and came up with nothing.
There is most definitely smoke and fire with 45, and they're turning a blind eye.

Not only are they turning a blind eye. They actually support 45 when he says he is exonerated, and this is not the case at all.

IV. CONCLUSION
Because we determined not to make a traditional prosecutorial judgment, we did not draw ultimate conclusions about the President’s conduct. The evidence we obtained about the President’s actions and intent presents difficult issues that would need to be resolved if we were making a traditional prosecutorial judgment. At the same time, if we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment. Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.

@jorj I agree with you that the Mueller finding was about obstruction and I understand what you are talking about. As far as Russia goes, I remember a time almost 2 years ago that Trump Jr. said they did not need any money and that they could get all they wanted from Russia. I assume he was telling the truth and I also assume the Trump Tower Moscow idea went on past the election. Another problem here is that both political parties are trying to sell us on ideas because you and I are now the product in the world today.

This stuff should make a great movie someday.

No thanks. I've gotten more than my bellyfull with the real thing.
I wouldn't watch a movie of this debacle for free.

After that, there'll be a counter partisan investigation into the investigation of the Mueller investigation. They call this leadership. I call it the plot of a 70s sitcom.
