Upon signing up, this site provided me with several definitions. Atheist and Agnostic were among them, and were as follows... Atheist - A person that does not believe in a God or Gods. Agnostic - A person that sees no evidence that a God or God's exist. I do admit, those definitions left me wanting more. But if they are accurate, then I'm both. I don't believe a God exists because I can see no evidence that a God exist.
I welcome any expansion on that.

I feel dread, of dying, mostly because I'm having a heck of a good time and I'll hate to see it end.
Plus, I'm agnostic, which means I'm pretty sure no one knows what they're talking about, including me, so I take nothing seriously. What, me worry? Who cares?!?
So you see I'm an intentional fool and damned proud ot it! Try it some time.

Humans have been conditioned for a long time to live the way we live. It's not going to be turned around in a day, especially when the powers that be don't change the way the system works. They should have started changing the system in the 50s when they discovered peak oil (Hubbert's Peak) was going to be an issue. Climate change wouldn't be so detrimental right now if they did that. The government had the data. It's their fault. As soon as the public got the data, we have been complicit in it. With the benefits of society right now because of oil etc., I don't know if the public could go back to life like it was before fossil fuels. Even using solar and wind only prolongs the fossil fuel problem. During that period, people will probably still ignore the problem and think everything is fine. The powers that be might think that by the time the oil runs out, billions will die because of it anyway and the Earth will recycle.

What's the difference between exiexistential dread and "the real thing"?

I suppose it's because I'm not a breeder, but I believe that there is nothing that could stop the tragic trajectory of our animal species. Neil deGrasse Tyson said it best. The Earth will last forever, it's humans that are headed for extinction. If we were a planet of overpopulated environmentalists the situation would be the same.

We can't change a thing until all of humanity stops the use of fossil fuels or at the very least sequesters more carbon than is released by the use of those fuels. Have you done that yet? I know I haven't and no one I know has either. It looks like Australia is being hit the hardest while Russia will get the advantages because of the warming Arctic. I fear for our grandchildren.

I don't care about one or the other, I just don't believe. You can call me anything you want, that's your perception of me, which is out of my hands. As far as responsibility, not really sure what do you mean.

I have never experienced existential dread. Take responsibility for what?

Since age 13, I have been an atheist when I realized the Bible is just a book of stories written by men.

I chose rational thinking, instead of magical beliefs. I don't believe in an invisible being that resides somewhere beyond the clouds.

"How did the universe begin?" Christians demand I explain. Not this again.

"Nobody knows," I reply. "Since when does being an atheist make me an astrophysicist?"

I chose agnostic because I don’t care either way. I don’t even think about it. I find the topic a complete waste of time.

Yeah, I have never suffered from existential angst.
I already know the difference between atheist and agnostic.
I don't feel any need to take responsibility for anything.
I'm completely comfortable with being an atheist.
I am relatively unconcerned with why agnostics can't commit to a position, but
that's their deal. If they don't know, they don't know.
