I have just talked to my good friend from Barbados. He has a good education. We talked about the black congresswomen who was yelling at Ben Carson, "Is that a yes or a no?" I said it was about time that someone got angry about this non-stop, criminal behavior. Even though my Barbados friend is black---- and he hates Trump- he did not agree with this woman's behavior- because she acted in anger. What do you think of this?

I don't know that I've seen Kamala Harris angry...(understandably)frustrated sometimes, but angry I don't recall...

'Somebody', male or female, needs to get angry---- and from what I have seen lately, more women are showing some fortitude than men.

@Diogenes I like her(and AOC)rational, unemotional interogatory...asking questions, reasking...reasking...then conceding they will not get an answer...to me this is most effective revelation of obstruction...that they will not answer straight questions...

Her name is Kamala Harris...your friend is male...

I know it is not intentional in a demeaning way, but, why did you choose to say Ben Carson's name and not hers?

I think years of patriarchy are ingrained in our society...

YES, I think you are right. I didn't have a pen and paper handy to write her name down and it was one of the few times I had seen her. Understand, very clearly, that I admire her very much- THAT is why I wrote my post. Carson, a true Trump sycophant, is screwing people that need housing; he doesn't give a fuck what colour they are.(Yes, and I sometimes use 'that' expletive)

I feel that educated people, of any colour, like Obama too, should put aside their decorum and dignity, and attack the Trump clown. Trump is a moron- and is dangerous to the extreme; persons who do not challenge him may well find that they do not have their dignity- or lives either

Another short addition: thanks for your help.

@Diogenes I know...it is just one of those things that people naturally seem to remember the names of men on tv and not women...it is ingrained and not intentional...I find myself doing it as well...lol...I have to write everything down...I did not follow Ben Carson much after his run for President...I never thought we would see that dope again...then I heard he was in charge of HUD...the guy stammered through not knowing what REO was in the housing market (I didn't know, but he should)...he said OREO...idiot, which is a slur...she is compelling, but she has some troubling policies in her past...

Perhaps he sees how it will reflect poorly on him or on other black women. Unfortunately, visible minorities or POC in the states still tend to be seen as a monolith, rather than individuals acting out. So, he may believe, that if she gets angry, racists will use that as proof to paint all black people as irrational, angry and hot-tempered. The problem is not with her reaction, it is with idiots and the stpd media that paint minorities as a monolith.

YES, YES, YES! Who in hell gives a damn what 'white', red-necked morons think- or even 'if' they think? But get this straight; educated whites need to be in educated black's shoes to get the full 'feeling'.

To add to my first post--- there is too much dignity with educated blacks- they do not want to be seen as uneducated hoodlums. We ALL have to get angry- and put a stop to Trumpism.

I'm angry.
