In the matter of fiction, the creator of Superman had him flying through the air- but he never had him walking on water.

No, the creators of Superman had him leaping, not flying. He was more like the hulk.

To be pedantic when writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster created superman in 1938 he could not fly at all, he could"leap tall buildings in single bound" he did not begin to fly until 1941 when a contract writer for the Fleischer Brothers cartoon series unfamiliar with the source material added it in and the comic writers adopted it to save confusion.
Superman has actually walked, or at least stopped himself sinking by hovering several times especial when working with Aquaman.
Fellow Krytonian general zod definitely has

Jesus is a supernatural hero. He can fly down into hell and convince enternal tortured people in hell, he is suffering more than they are.
That is worst than a drunken superman.

Jesus did both. Imagine how long it must have taken for Jesus to be raised into the air before he was received by a cloud and was out of site. Imagine the release of a helium balloon to help you see this. Now imagine that Jesus will return "in like manner."

My comment was about "fiction", and some fiction is worth reading--- an' some ain't. The bible was "written by the hand of god" ---- and just what made the "hand". Reading trash is boring.

@Diogenes I'm trying to use common logic to point out how ridiculous this belief really is.

"Return"- he was never here in the first place.
