So now we can only post in groups..
I predict more people leaving.

Edited to state.. by the options listed it looks like they are planning to remove the general groups again.

Nope... not going to touch general groups. Tried it for 2 days haha a few months ago and didn't go well. Let me know if there's something broken/etc. Ah, there was a typo/bug on the Post form... removed. Thanks!

Click the " BrOwse" button on the far right, then "posts", you can reply to anything posted. On my Android tablet, when I click on the normal "post", just to the left of :"browse"the drop down bar is unchanged.....maybe it is something you inadvertently did?

Ok folks - if you select "Post" from the top bar you get this (See attached)

The red arrow lets you post to your own groups. Prioritized by the groups that your own - then to the groups you are in. (Nifty).

The purple arrow leads to the Forum selections.

I'm on a PC. It's possible if you are on the phone or an app that the coding isn't there yet - but it will be. Obviously coding is ongoing.

This is an upgrade.

You can post to Groups or Forums by selecting "Post" now.

Thats not an upgrade.. we already had the ability to post to our profile page..

@SeaGreenEyez how long have the descriptions been like that on the options? I just noticed the wording changed today

@hippydog Where it says "Profile Page" is a drop down list - of all your groups.... So it's the options in the first one of ALL GROUPS and in the second box of FORUMS. 😉

"General Forum"

Shameless self promotion....

@Matias Precisely why I said "Shameless Self Promotion" it's a group. It's my group.

I created it when the Forums disappeared the first time and we thought they weren't returning.

It's being used as a General Forum now. People are welcome to join. That is why I posted a link.

@Matias It's there - see my above (up at the top) comment with screenshot.

@Matias seems the general forum is still there.. but by the new description when posting i would assume its going away again..

@hippydog I did not mean to confuse you. The "General Forum" is a group - this is the true General FORUM - [agnostic.com]

When the Real General Forum disappeared I created a group - so that people could still do General posts. We've continued to grow and I did a promotion here - tongue in cheek.

Did not mean to misdirect you. I'll go away now..... And cease confusing you....

Relax.

I was confused by the new drop-down list of groups before the Submit button.

I ignored it and pressed Submit like @hippydog did. His and my posts are on the main page.

I still can't double post in group and main pae.

I was going by the new description.. it was very specific.. maybe the coding hasnt caught up to what they are planning.
It was VERY specific

The description of the options when posting is pretty specific.

@hippydog "None" is not a group.
