Were there any problems in this world BEFORE Trump was president or did ALL of the world issues happen since he became president? It's a simple question; simple answers are welcome.

As the human population grows (158 more births, than deaths, per minute, 227,000 more per day) but the world doesn't ...more and more have to fight for, compete for, and share less and less.

...and there's only one solution.

ZPG.

...and we know how to get there. It's our greed, our need to keep "growing' that stops us....and will end it for us.

From my perspective the problems have always been there. Trump just seems very good at inflaming situations rather than tempering them.

No, Obama was a mediocre president in many ways because he is a neoliberal. He waged drone warfare over much of Africa and the middle east. He made giving money to insurance companies mandatory when he should have instituted tax funded universal medical coverage. He kept the war on drugs going. Yes he did many things for the LGBTQ+ community and kept good relations with Europe. But that doesn't necessarily make up for everything else.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that why do some people believe we need the government to fix the problems facing this great country of ours. The people have much more power than any government official. We have to find a way to work together. I do not support Trump, Clinton, republicans or democrats. I support the people of this country who work hard and try their best to do the right thing day in and day out.

@Ms_McSteven Who can we replace him with? I have never met or heard of an honest politician in my lifetime.

Did you believe everything Trump said before he was president or just after he was president? Simple answer is fine

Yes. Hope that isn't too complex of an analysis for you.

Also, there will be more of them when he's out of office. Some will be his fault, others won't.

Most presidents tried to fix problems, he is doing his utmost to create them.

We all know there were problems before Trump. My big beef is the constant lies and daily tweets that scream out to everyone "me, me me!" I get it that he is in love with himself. I do not share his feelings and I want America to be sane again. I need "normal" news rather than Reality TV brought daily into dominating the media and the White House.

There have been problems ever since there have been humans. But to varying degrees, they've been acknowledged and dealt with. Now, it seems "he" is creating more and bigger problems than ever, all the while rendering the masses ineffective and divided. Does not bode well for our future ...

He has made spewing hatred, even physical violence, acceptable.
Before drump, there was a thing called "politeness" where people that said/did things to make other people unhappy/miserable/ injured were looked down upon by most. Now, not so much.....

I remember politeness. It was joined at the hip to respectability when I was young so I didn't think much of it then. But politeness connected to truth, that would be sweet.

Interesting. So, all of the violence towards people who wear the MAGA hat are Trump's fault? Even if those who attack believe the hat is a symbol of hate, how can one justify their actions?

@tiger78 ummmm.....most of the violence comes from people WEARING the MAGA hat (made in China), either actually or menrally.....name your sources?
