Thanks for the good wishes but I am not satisfied. I might be if I outlive Bone Spurs.

Course you will!

How I long to have a queen, House of Lords, House of Commons and a prime minister to rule over me... (you must admit though, some of your kings were pretty fucking crazy).

Its mad but they don't rule over us.

@Amisja of course not anymore, except of course by making the laws that you must follow upon risk of incarceration. I just thought that terminology went well when talking about a kingdom, antiquated as it may be.

@mooredolezal No...they don’t make any laws either...that’s parliament which does that too. The Queen is just Head of State, she has no political power at all....monarchs have had none since we cut of Charles I’s head in 1649!

@Amisja I think you will find that we are still "subjects" not citizens

@Moravian That is just semantics....they have no actual power, except what we allow them.

@Moravian My passport says citizen.

@Amisja I looked on the official Gov.uk site and found it totally confusing but it seems that some changes were made in 1983 and we are now citizens but some people are still subjects as well

@Moravian Weird, I am definitely a citizen.

@Moravian We are all subject to the law, but are citizens of the country.

@Marionville [en.wikipedia.org]

This explains it much more clearly than the UK.GOV site.

@Moravian Thanks...for clarification.

@Marionville Yes I realize that. That's why I wrote House of Commons and House of Lords.
