It is mind boggling.

An aquaintance of mine, Steve, at age 8 had a cousin who was also 8. (this was 40 years ago) . One day Steve's cousin was riding his bike when taken by a neighborhood adult.

This adult took the boy into the woods. Tied him to a tree. He tortured the boy. Beat him. Raped him. Did sick shit that I cannot picture or define.

Many times I think of that boy. I think of that boy crying. Begging. "Where's my Dad?! Mom help me! Daddy ! Help me Dad! Where are you? " Fear, Pain, Tears and Anguish exploding out of him.
Of course they weren't available. Working. Taking care of business, other kids, shopping. They had no idea what was taking place.

That boy died that day. Tied to a tree. 8 years old, beaten and defiled.

But GOD saw it all. He did nothing. The most powerful being in existence, in the whole universe, did nothing for that boy. God watched him suffer and die for the joy of a truly sick, wretched piece of garbage.

Car keys? Touchdowns? Money? ......They deserve eternity with that sick bastard. They don't know what they are in for, do they?

Thank god I was born with a brain so that I could figure out he doesn’t exist!

You beat me in using that verbiage here! I have also debated using that verbiage here because of who some don't know it/and or don't like the application of them. 🙂

I watched this episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee last night and this is the bit that stuck with me too. This point is exactly what caused me to lose my religion over time. Seeing football players and beauty queens thanking Jesus for "picking them" just turned my stomach. How it is that everyone cannot see how ridiculous thanking God/Jesus/Allah/Whatever for every good thing that happens, as if He/She cares about your pageant, game, keys, is baffling and maddening. And yet it happens a million times a day all over this planet.

Or thanking the god for helping to find said keys.
