Watched some of the democrat debates.
Like miss world contestants arguing about who owns 'I want the world to be better'. The clear divisions within the party being extolled on TV is not the way to gain votes.
Every time one of them spews out another disputed idea, the winner is ..... trump
I think the drill for 2020 should be, vote for whatever Democrat is nominated, regardless how much you like or agree with them. Save your likes/agrees for Senators and Congressmen...
I thought tonight was a little nastier than last night especially with the jump on Harris by several members. Having said that the divisions within the Democrats aren't a tenth that within the Republicans or a thousand fold that between the parties. As awkward as it is, it winnows down the field which needs to happen as soon as possible. The victor should be the candidate that can stand up to Trump in a debate which is going to be a lot hotter than these lukewarm debates. These people use research to find information to use against other candidates but whoever wins is going to be subjected to a constant stream of name-calling, lies, threats and anything else that Trump can use against them. They need to be tough and quick witted and having some humor sure won't hurt.
You’d think.. I watched some in a ‘mixed group’ of Democrats yesterday, and commented how varied they must view ‘their audience.’ Are they attempting to communicate with: the ignorant, the educated, the religious, environmentalists, ultra liberals, moderates, angry men ..angry women? And all trying to “Break out!”
So, do you recall the Republican’s equivalent of 4 years ago..? With their schoolyard put downs ..and dick size comparisons..
It’s how it’s done - and where it happens in the USA! We’ve unlimited elections, unlimited contributions, media corporations doing nothing but. It’s a Circus!
Not sure if viewers are looking for divisions as much as a sound mind capable of coherently describing sensible desires in an admirable way. Personally, I’ve not been impressed, though, as mentioned - anyone one of them would be a superior choice to the diseased individual they’re aiming to replace.
Yesterday's conscience? “We’ll vote for any one of them!”
28,000 people in a small rural county near me changed their party registration from Republican to Democrat...when asked whom they are voting for, the overall answer was anybody but...so in reality, tv is a circus...people will vote for a tree stump...anything is better than trump
