Politics , sports, and religion the most corrupt institutions in the world. Driven by money, power, greed, and the need to influence the masses by pushing a predetermined agenda!

Sports has corrupted our educational system. That's about it. The PRO Leagues should pay their own way, let the kids go back to readin' and writin'

Yep, that's true. Spoiled my coffee thinking about it, but true.

Too funny

@Blackthought73 I am sorry , here in the UK we do tend to have an over developed irony button.
PS. Don't forget to throw the arts in too.

@Fernapple consider it thrown in!!

I don't disagree, but I don't think I'd put sports on the same level as politics and religion.

I don't think it should be weighed the same...politics and religion have more of an impact on society as a whole ...totally agree..

Could you explain how golf is corrupt?

I'm not a golf fan...I don't follow it much....

How so with sports? I get politics and religion.

I believe like most things that's profit driven, sports had been increasingly corrupted by scandal and manipulation. ESPN drives the narratives on a 24 hour news cycle ....they infuse the leagues with money and then push a narrative. Its amazing to see...since the NBA and NFL been contractually signed and broadcasted on ESPN...they drive a narrative and storyline of the upcoming league..this year ESPN is pushing or marketing the browns to be relevant....the browns will be aired nationally weekly ..

@Blackthought73 Ah, got ya! I don't follow sports, other than baseball enough to see that pattern.

@GreatNani oh okay...I follow boxing hockey football basketball...baseball a bit

@maturin1919 follow the money and the truth is there....I'm mot denying that we are in a capitalist society....but corruption in sports has always been rampant...to deny that is simply absurd.....

@maturin1919 I mean no disrespect...just my opinion...
