@SeaGreenEyez I'm sure you don't think being "hysterical" is a good thing. But I agree with being incensed and outraged that our schools are not being equipped to deal with threats. Children should not feel a need to wear bullet proof clothes, or backpacks.
They don't do anything to protect the head, or much of the rest of the body. Besides, they would be heavy, and that is a burden I don't want to give any child.

So sad that people think a bulletproof backpack will protect their children instead of demanding that their representatives in Congress do something to keep the gundamentalists in check.
