This picture of Melania interacting with Justin is all over the internet and started an interesting conversation among some of my friends. One female psychologist thinks Melania is an abused wife. I agree that she exhibits some of the behaviors and facial expressions that suggest deep resentment and perhaps hatred of an oppressor.

I concur with your observations. I'll tie in my psychological studies with criminology shortly. My daughter has mentioned the same (another psychologist).
My suspicion is the abuse started during pregnancy as the abuser stops seeing her as a living sex doll. Then cultural and financial drives keep her in place while she puts up with physical and mental and emotional abuse.
