I wish we were all hippies and we did yoga, lived in cottages, smoked weed, accepted everyone for who they are, and listened to wonderful music.....and I wish money didn't make us who we are. If you agree with Bob Marley on any of the above, you are cordially invited to join us at Hippie Land.

The anchors of the hippie lifestyle were:

  • Respect for the earth
  • Respect for each other
  • Leaving the world of greed behind
    I was there.

I live in a 'lodge' (bungalow for now), accepted everyone for who they are, (and make a conscious decision not to eviscerate some of them), listen to wonderful music and have learned that an excess of money is an irrelevance .....Is that close enough?

yup

@sassygirl3869 thank you - I will continue my semi hippy lifestyle ... and the group for the great stuff that pops up there

I am a Hippie because I believe in Peace, Love, and sometimes Rock and Roll. I believe in being good to the earth and each other. I don't need or want excess, I just want enough; for me and for everyone. Look for the good in each other, help each other; reduce, reuse, and recycle. Find your bliss and help others find theirs. And lastly, take good care of our mother, there is no Planet B.

Nah. I grew out of smoking weed in the 1970s.

I listen to wonderful music aka jazz.

Have been a peace activist my entire adult life.

I left the Hippies group because of too much woo. I guess I'm to rational to be a hippie anymore.
