I suffer with really bad anxiety and so when it came to the first day of college, i was really scared. The environment was unfamiliar and I just felt really tense and just not myself.I think i looked visibly uncomfortable so my teacher had asked me if i was okay and I bursted out crying in front of the class, it was embarrassing and i still cringe about it a year later.
I think crying gets a bad wrap as an emotional release. I hope you can appreciate the strength and perseverance you exhibited on your first day and remember that when the you think about that incident.
Thanks,i never thought of it like that , i always get a bit shy when someone brings it up, i end up hiding my face
Now that it is legal, you should at least try full spectrum hemp extract. Pure CBD is a poor substitute, but might work also. If you wanted to try some hemp pills that I'm developing, email me.
Thanks, i’ll try that.
@averykings I should add the caution that full spectrum hemp could contain enough THC to cause you to fail a drug test, in case that's an issue. It could also be true of pure CBD extract.
Best wishes. If others bring this up to you a year later just make up a funny but simple story as to why it happened. This way everyone smiles about it, even you.
I find today that I also have bad anxiety at age 73. Sometimes it cause insomnia.
Thank you, and yes I normally just laugh it of when someone brings it up but i am sorry to hear about your anxiety.
I'm sure most of those people in the class were concerned for you. And I know that is little comfort. Just know it is alright and you had an emotional response. You did nothing wrong. In grad school, a small class, we had someone cry - rather than continue with an assignment the prof spoke with the student and with all of us about stress. Best wishes and success.
Thank you, this helps me a lot .
