Sad news this morning a superwoman has died. NPR had a newscast about a veteran reporter for NPR and ABC, Cokie Roberts died. [npr.org] scroll down for politics. Also, [npr.org] Also, [abcnews.go.com] Women like her and after my last partnership I have come to see a superwoman can beat a superman any day.

Apparently she was prophetic, too: "[Trump] is one of the least qualified candidates ever to make a serious run for the presidency," Roberts and her husband wrote. "If he is nominated by a major party — let alone elected — the reputation of the United States would suffer a devastating blow around the world."

Didn't know her birth name was Mary Martha Corinne Morrison Claiborne Boggs.

Another one of the Washington rocks gets chipped away.

And there are some who think she was a conservative. Unbelievable.

Cokie Roberts was a brilliant, caring an principled person who stood head shoulders above most men.

What an extraordinary woman! She used an intellectual scalpel to sift through political bias. I liked her. She was smart and personable. I'll miss her smile and laugh.

Watched conservative Cokie Roberts since David Brinkley hosted This Week on ABC. Always liked her even though she was on the right.

I think she saw situations from a balanced perspective. She was a regular broadcaster with NPR which is not a conservative organization. I refuse to see issues as always being right or left but from an evidence and reasoned based perspective.
